Two sent to Carroll Hospital after Westminster kitchen fire

Westminster people were hospitalized with potentially
life-threatening injuries Thursday evening after a kitchen fire in the 200
block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Westminster, according to a Westminster fire
company spokesman.

INCIDENT DESCRIPTION: At 5:11 p.m. Carroll County
firefighters and EMS personnel were dispatched to a report of a building fire
in 200 block Pennsylvania Avenue, Westminster - BOX:0331 DUE:E31 E91 E61 E101
RS9 TO3 T2 X37 CS6
The emergency response was quickly upgraded in response to a
report that individuals were trapped in the fire.
In addition to units from the Westminster Fire Engine and
Hose Co. No. 1, firefighters and EMS personnel and multiple emergency response
units of Carroll County volunteer fire companies 6, 9, 10, 2 and 4 responded: 6
– Pleasant Valley, 9 – Reese, 10 – New Windsor, and 4 – Manchester.
