Unofficial results from primary
The Herald Mail: Del. Christopher B. Shank appeared on his way Tuesday night to toppling five-term state Sen. Donald F. Munson. With 23 of 45 precincts reporting in District 2, Shank had 2,825 votes to 1,951 for Munson, for a lead of 59 percent to 41 percent. By winning the primary, Shank would become the new state senator for District 2, which covers most of Washington County. There is no Democratic candidate in the Nov. 2 general election.
