Grace Lutheran Church “Grace Weekly” – Constant Contact weekly newsletter for Feb. 23, 2017

Weekend Worship
This coming Sunday we conclude the time after Epiphany by celebrating the Transfiguration of our Lord, when Jesus went up a mountain and showed himself to be divine. Then next Wednesday we observe Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, as Jesus walks up another mountain and shows himself to be human. Come to worship, to praise this Jesus Christ, to hear him speak, and to partake of his body.
Worship Services at Grace this weekend include:
Saturday at 5:00;
Sunday at 7:459:00 and 11:15
The Children’s Chorus of Carroll County
will be singing at the 11:15 service.

  We hope to see you at worship this weekend.

Little Friends of Grace
Stop by LFOG Annual Family Night on Friday, February 24 to check out the silent auction.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Bidding closes at 7:30 p.m.   This is a fun way to support our congregation’s preschool.
Registration for the 2017-2018 school year is now open.  We have openings for ages 2, 3 & 4.  The four year old classes in particular are filling up fast.  For more information contact Anita Erb, Preschool Director, at the church (410-848-7020).

Mission Moments
Last Thursday, February 16, 2017, our Confirmation students, parents and mentors, led by Pastor Martha and Leanne, served a wonderful homestyle meal to our neighbors at Ardent Folk. It was a great time, full of fellowship and fun.
