I was sad to realize that one of the owners of B's Coffee Shop recently passed-away... I had breakfast many times at B's over the years. Many fond memories..

Betty Jane (Click) Marsh, 87, of Westminster passed away peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Carroll Hospice Dove House.

She was born on November 9, 1928 in Emmitsburg, Maryland and was the daughter and step-daughter of the late Lulu Mae Click Murdock and James Murdock. She was the wife of 69 years to the late John F. Marsh.

Betty graduated from Westminster High School class of 1945. She and her husband owned and operated B's Coffee Shop from 1982-1987.

She was a life member for 67 years with the VFW Molleville Farm Post 467 Auxiliary, served 4 terms as President and 1 year as District 7 President. She also managed the dining room for several years.

She was instrumental in collecting donations to open Carroll County General Hospital and also for the March of Dime's. She served as a girl scout leader and was a charter member of the former Gladys Wimert Lioness Club. She was a life member of the DAV Auxiliary She was a member of the Westminster First Church of God on Center St.

Betty was an avid bingo player and Orioles fan. Her biggest enjoyment of life was having her family near.

Betty is survived by daughter Debbie Carns and her husband Bob, whom she resided with in Westminster; grandchildren Robin Carns Toner and her husband Paul of Northport, NY, Brian Carns and wife Jennifer of Westminster; great grandchildren Maggie and John Toner, Savannah and Wyatt Carns; devoted niece Shelli Click of Mt. Airy; sister Doris Rodgers of Hanover, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by an infant son John and a brother Lloyd Click.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Meador of Carrollton Church of God officiating. Interment will be in St. John's (Leisters) Lutheran Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW Auxiliary Molleville Farm Post 467, 519 Poole Rd., Westminster MD 21157, or Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster MD 21157.
