Michael Dale Button, 54, of Westminster, died peacefully, happy, and blissfully, on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the Dove House. Born April 14, 1961 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Patricia Flynn Button and LeRoy T. Button; a World War II Army Ranger. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sharon A. Glass.  

He was employed as a surveyor for Wilson T. Ballard. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Westminster.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Taylor Glass Button, of Westminster and brothers Thomas L. Button and wife Carol Littman of Germantown, Maryland, and Kyle Button and husband Christopher Aldama of California, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dale and Jean Glass of Grantsville, Maryland.  Mike is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, a niece and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster, with The Revs. Kevin and Martha Clementson co-officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.  

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.  

In lieu of flowers, undesignated memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster, MD 21157.
