Welcome to the Historic Belle Grove Square Neighborhood website

Located just one block away from downtown Westminster, the Belle Grove Square neighborhood can trace its roots back to 1866 when George W. Matthews purchased the parcel of land that eventually became the Belle Grove Square neighborhood. Belle Grove Square Park is the heart of our historic neighborhood and it was donated to the city of Westminster on May 8th, 1877.

The Belle Grove Square neighborhood is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. Our voluntary neighborhood association is committed to perpetuating the historical character of Historic Belle Grove Square, as well as improving and beautifying our neighborhood and improving neighborhood and community relationships.
