Should marijuana even be illegal? I think it's ridiculous myself. Was Phelps getting an advantage smoking pot? You wouldn't think so but usually when something like this happens its steroids or some enhancement drug athletes are getting in trouble for, but pot? I think it just helps prove marijuana isn't as debilitating of a drug as people want to make it out to be. I mean if a potsmoker can sweep one of the most difficult sports in the olympics how harmful is the stuff really? Shouldn't it have worsened his performance being such a horrible "drug". I think its time for people to wake up and legalize marijuana. Its nothing like what it has been made out to be by its protesters. I'm 100% convinced that legalizing it would benefit the entire country but close minded people that know nothing about it continue to have the upper hand in the fight to legalize it. It would definitely boost the economy and we need that now more than ever.

it seems ridiculous that Michael Phelps is getting so much flak from this supposed marijuana scandal... Since when have we taken the reporting of trashy tabloids so seriously?

Forget Kellogs. I don't approve of their action on the matter.

How many fans would it take to make up the difference in income?

This whole controversy is ridiculous. If this is the worse Phelps can do, then we need to stop beating him up. It's not like he smoked crack or did steroids for crying out loud! Stop crucifying the guy! He could have done something a lot worse, and those sponsors who are abandoning him are more worried about their own self image.

I wonder if his apology is sincere I don't really blame him for saying what he said about it to save a little face with the powers that oppress but he shouldn't have to apologize anyway. I can't express how angry it makes me that marijuana is illegal. It is Stupidity at it height to keep it illegal. It's ok to get hammered every night on alcohol so long as you don't break any legitimate laws by hurting someone or doing something else stupid(which happens all the time as a result of drinking)it's ok to take all kinds of prescription painkillers but you can't legally sit back and smoke some weed at home???
I can't believe it hasn't been legalized yet. By keeping it illegal it causes way more harm than good. Why don't enough people realize that yet??? I can understand the 4th, 5th, 6th dimensions better than the reason weed is illegal. It's not surprising that our country/world is in the state it's in. God help us.

I'm personally going to boycott kelloggs because of their ignorance and arrogance. Not that it will take any effort.

Sorry to keep hogging the blog but if you can't tell I am very passionate about this issue. I think he should quit being a kitty and stand up for the use of marijuana as being something that doesn't cause the harm it is falsely accused of. Really I don't even know that it's accused of causing harm. Why is it illegal again? Does anybody know?
