Samantha Marie "Sam" Reaver, age 42, of
Westminster, died suddenly on Friday, February 1, 2013, in Owings Mills, MD.
Born August 4, 1970, in Cheverly, MD she was the daughter of
Charles "Skip" and Rosemarie Schumacher Dorrell of Gambrills, MD.
Sam was a graduate of Anne Arundel Community College and was
a career paramedic in Carroll County. She loved to drink coffee and volunteered
for the Baltimore Bully Crew. She enjoyed animals and especially spending time
with her dog, "Pig.”
Surviving in addition to her parents are son, Shawn P.
Kauffmann of Westminster and sister and brother-in-law, Catherine M. Dorrell
and Paul Wren of England. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel
(6416 Sykesville Road) Sykesville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 PM
followed by a funeral service at 7PM with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating.
Interment will be private.
